Our programs far surpass
the scope of ordinary social service. They inculcate the virtues
and present each person with a challenge to exercise leadership
in the service of others.
As a leadership program for high school girls, The Avenue seeks to engage each student where she is in life. With her mentor, each student applies what she learned during the monthly sessions to her own circumstances, formulating goals and navigating the challenges she encounters.
The mentors are professional women and graduate students.
Murray Hill Institute
Professional women between the ages of 22 and 35 partner with more experienced professionals who exemplify the ideals of the Institute.
Mentor-mentee meeting topics include Goal Setting; Career Development; Effective Communication;Maintaining Life Balance; Managing Interpersonal Relationships Effective Networking, etc.
