About the event

The Phoenix Club is a group of women with substantial life experience who meet monthly to share ideas on how to use their time, skills, and talents to support each other and to enrich the lives of those around them. For the April meeting, our theme will be "The Power of Words." Sometimes a phrase or a few words from a friend or mentor will stay with us and give us joy or gratitude throughout our lives. At other times, it may be a book we read many years ago that we turn to again and again for solace and peace.  We will share books, poems, stories, or just phrases that have had staying power for us over the years.  If you would like to come and just listen, that is fine too!  The session will be moderated by Marjorie Odems, a former educator with the New York City school system. For further information and to RSVP, please contact Alice Trimmer via atrimmer@msn.com
