In Dialogue With... Fashion | Beauty & the Anthropology of Fashion

  • Alderton House 117 East 70th Street (map)

About the Lecture

This two-part lecture will cover the concept of beauty and the anthropology of fashion.

Andrea Gutiérrez (marketing, Jaeger-LeCoultre) will speak about beauty as a concept, its transcendence, and its transformative power. Malena Diz (fashion designer, Ralph Lauren) will cover a brief history of fashion and its place in society. Fashion history reveals the spirit and beliefs of human nature across movements. How does our personal style tie to societal ones?

This event is especially for young professional women.
