540 Lenox Avenue (The Salvation Army Harlem Temple Corps), New York
Volunteers will meet City Relief staff at the Harlem site at 10:15 AM.
Volunteers will join together with City Relief staff and their community partners to throw a block party and create a welcoming environment!
Volunteers assist with a variety of activities such as:
Setting up tables, chairs, and tents on the street.
Pass out soup, bread, & beverages, offer socks, etc. to visitors at outreach.
Maintain a high level of cleanliness at and around the outreach.
Travel in teams around the nearby area to invite guests to the outreach.
Assist with site clean up and breakdown of tables, chairs, and tents.
