About the Lecture

What is contemporary art? Join us for this lecture to learn about the current state of contemporary art and how we got here. The lecture will be given by Raquel Cascales, PhD Philosophy of Art.

About the Speaker

Raquel Cascales is a professor at the University of Navarre in Pamplona, Spain. She studied Philosophy and Philosophy of Art at Navarre and teaches Anthropology and Ethics of Design at the Architecture School and Theory of Art. She’s currently a visiting scholar at Columbia doing research on the boundaries of art.
