About the event

The Phoenix Club is a group of women with substantial life experience who meet monthly to find ways to use our time and skills to build new friendships and enrich the lives of those around us. We explore topics of cultural and practical interest, using our collective knowledge and experience as well as the expertise of invited speakers.
The theme for our May session will be "Stewards of Friendship." The value of friendship is undeniable, but what can we do to promote and maintain friendships as the years go by? Fellow Phoenix member Marjorie Odems, teacher and interior designer, will introduce and facilitate a discussion of our own "best practices" for fostering friendships in the face of inevitable life changes.
