OBJECTIVES:

·       Know thyself: for this is the beginning of wisdom.

·       Grow in the ability to explain what makes us similar to and yet radically different from other animals and from artificial intelligence systems.

·       Consider our body-soul unity in its relation to scientific and medical issues such as evolution, embryonic development, and death.

·       Gain a deeper understanding of freedom, and of the role emotions play in a flourishing human life.

·       Begin to consider how our relationality is expressed in our sexual differentiation, in family relations, in the workplace, etc.
